Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon is a municipality in Quebec (Canada), located in the MRC of D'Autray, in the administrative region of Lanaudière.

It is named in honor of the archangel Gabriel.

The lands of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon were once visited by the Attikameks and the Abenakis who converged on Lake Maskinongé.

Jesse Armstrong is officially the first settler to obtain land in this seigneury, granted to Sieur Charles-François Tarieu of Lanaudière. Mr. Armstrong, an American loyalist of Scottish origin, is imitated by many Irish. However, it was not until around 1830 that French Canadians arrived in this area, which was first called Canton de Brandon and then Mission du lac Maskinongé until 1836.

The centre of the municipality is bordered to the west and east by Lake Maskinongé. The town of Saint-Gabriel is enclosed within the territory of the municipality.

The Maskinongé River borders the northeast of the municipality and flows northeast to its confluence with the Mandeville River coming from the northeast. From its crenon, in the northwest of the municipality, the Bayonne River crosses it from northwest to southeast.
